About Dr. Banshi saboo

Dr. Banshi Saboo is Chief Diabetologist & Chairman of Diabetes Care & Hormone Clinic at Ahmedabad. He is pursuing Ph.D. in Phenotyping & Genotyping of young Diabetic in India.

He is involved in various research projects i.e. Obesity in Children, Epidemiological study of Diabetes in Gujarat (ICMR INDIAB Study), Indian Heart Watch Study etc. He has presented many scientific papers in many National and International Conferences. He also has many publications in peer reviewed journal, scientific abstracts & book chapters in his credit.

He is regularly invited faculty for many National and International Conferences. He is advisory Board Member JAPI, Journal of Diabetology (DASG), International Journal for Medicine & Public Health, Journal of Nutrition & Nutraceuticals, Journal of Obesity & Metabolic Research.

He is Governing Body Member ofISPAD, DASG, API, DIPSI. He is Hon. Secretary of AIAARO, API – Ahmedabad Chapter&Indian Academy of Diabetes. He is also Jt. Secretary of RSSDI & President of RSSDI – Gujarat Chapter. Dr. Saboo has founded an NGO named “Diabetes Care India” to create awareness about Diabetes & its Complications in India. He has organized many National & Regional Conferences.
