By proceeding with payment and confirming this appointment, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
KiviHealth operates solely as a technology platform that enables discovery, scheduling, and prepaid booking of appointments with independent clinics and registered medical practitioners ("Doctor/Clinic"). KiviHealth is not a healthcare provider, does not practice medicine, and does not employ or supervise the Doctor/Clinic.
Complete responsibility for the medical consultation — including clinical judgment, diagnosis, advice, prescription, treatment outcome, availability, punctuality, quality of care, and continuity of care — rests solely with the Doctor and/or Clinic providing the service. KiviHealth bears no responsibility or liability for the consultation or its outcome, whether the appointment is a walk-in visit or a teleconsultation.
I understand this is a prepaid booking. The consultation fee is collected on behalf of the Doctor/Clinic and remitted to them. Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show handling, and refund of the consultation fee are governed entirely by the individual Doctor/Clinic's policy.
In the event of cancellation (by me or by the Doctor/Clinic), non-availability of the Doctor, delay, technical failure at the Clinic's end, dissatisfaction with the consultation, or any refund claim of any nature, I will contact the Doctor/Clinic directly. KiviHealth is not responsible for processing, approving, guaranteeing, or expediting any refund, and shall not be liable for any refund dispute between me and the Doctor/Clinic.
For teleconsultations, I understand the service is delivered by the Doctor in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (NMC/BoG, 2020, as amended). The Doctor retains sole discretion over the mode of consultation, whether a prescription is issued, and whether an in-person visit is required. KiviHealth only provides the connectivity/scheduling layer and is not responsible for the clinical encounter, network quality on either end, or any consequence arising from the consultation.
For walk-in appointments, the token/slot is confirmed subject to the Clinic's operating conditions on the day of visit. Waiting time, sequencing, and in-clinic experience are managed solely by the Clinic. KiviHealth is not liable for delays, rescheduling at the Clinic's end, or any in-clinic occurrence.
Medical, service-quality, refund, cancellation, and consultation-related grievances → Doctor/Clinic (contact details shown on the appointment confirmation).
Platform/technical issues (payment not captured, booking not reflected, app errors) → KiviHealth support.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KiviHealth's aggregate liability, if any, arising out of or in connection with a booking made through the platform shall not exceed the platform convenience/service fee (if any) retained by KiviHealth for that specific booking, and shall in no case extend to the consultation fee, medical outcome, or any consequential loss.
