Small Wonders, Your Child's Dental Home

Early in my career, as I began treating patients, a pattern emerged. Parents, many of them with young children, often shared the same sentiment: “We wish we had known about preventive dental care sooner. If someone had told us earlier, we could have avoided these problems.” These words resonated deeply with me, and my journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to shift the focus of dental care from treating illness to promoting wellness. My practice quickly became known for its emphasis on prevention, and I made it a point to go the extra mile in educating parents about the importance of early dental care.

Drawing inspiration from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) guidelines, I introduced the concept of “Your Child’s Dental Home” for the first time in Indiranagar, Bangalore, through my practice, Small Wonders.

At Small Wonders, we focus on prevention and educate parents about the importance of early dental care. The AAPD recommends that children establish a dental home by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth to monitor oral health and prevent future issues.
