Dr. Nidhi Rawal is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist, trained in the USA and has been practising for the last 10 years. She graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi and then moved to USA to obtain an MD in Pediatrics. She worked as a Pediatrician and obtained a Masters in Public health degree from Johns Hopkins University. She did a rigorous 3 year training fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at University of Maryland Children's Hospital. Dr. Nidhi Rawal has served as Director of Celiac disease program and Eosinophilic GI Disorders Program (Allergic disease of the gut) at UMD Children's Hospital, and has many publications to her credit. She also has extensive experience in Feeding difficulties and nutrition in children. Dr. Rawal believes practicing evidence based medicine, spending time with the patient/family and patient communication are key in providing the best patient care. Her expertise includes chronic abdominal pain, childhood nutrition, constipation, blood in stool, Acid reflux disease, poor growth, chronic diarrhea, celiac disease, pancreatic and liver diseases, feeding difficulties in children and food allergies affecting the GI tract.
